Wooden Fish Bowl

This bowl was hand turned from a solid piece of maple wood. It is approximately 11 inches wide by 5 inches tall, close to the size of an actual glass goldfish bowl. After forming the bowl on a wood lathe, the outside was carved both by hand and by use of a rotary tool. The color was applied with a tinted stain and the project was finally finished with a polyshield spray. Please do not use this bowl for holding any liquids.
